De zangcarrière van Janine begon al op jonge leeftijd. Meteen na haar afgeronde studie klassieke zang aan het Conservatorium van Maastricht wint ze de eerste prijs van het tv-zangconcours Una Voce Particolare. Nationaal en internationaal treedt ze veelvuldig op als soliste in diverse klassieke concerten, opera’s, operettes en musicals.

​Janine’s singing career starts at a young age. After finishing her study classic singing at Maastricht Conservatory, she won first prize in a Dutch TV-vocal competition called Una Voce Particolare. Contradictions

Het tegenstrijdige fascineert me. Iedereen heeft zijn eigen perspectief.
Spannend in de kunsten, maar ingewikkeld in het dagelijks leven. 
Binnen de muziek worden beide kanten verzoend. 
Daarom geloof ik in muziek.
In de gekozen uitvoering van de liedjes vallen de grenzen tussen genres weg. Tegenstrijdigheden sluiten vriendschap, in de muziek kan alles.
Muziek is mijn vrijhaven waar tegenstrijdigheden oplossen in harmonie.
